Facilities at Romford Mosque
Romford Mosque provides many voluntary services, the Mosque was established since 1981.
- Friday prayers – Khutba about Islam and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW;
- All five prayers are held at the mosque;
- Teaching of Quran, Tajweed , Islamic history and Islamic way of life, boys and girls Madrasa by qualified Islamic scholar;
- Tafseer & other Islamic teaching for ladies group;
- Ramadan travih prayers and on completion of Quran during Ramadan special dua is held. Separate entrance for ladies halls, men separate entrance to halls. Iftar at mosque during Ramadan, Itikaaf at the Mosque during Ramadan;
- Provision of Halal food: following our efforts halal food is provided at Queen’s Hospital and at Havering Schools;
- We also offer counselling by our expert Islamic Scholar, we provide reconciliation services in matters like marriage disputes and divorce advised etc;
- Following our efforts with the council there is separate burial area available for Muslims at Crowlands cemetery Havering. We offer advice for Muslim funeral;
- Constant efforts against the racism and harassment of Muslims;
- Dawah of Islam with several people reverting to Islam (free will) at the hand of Mr Siddiqui ;
- Registered to provide Islamic Marriage Nikkah Services;
- Provide general legal advice and support in personal problems;
- Support and help school admission matters;
- Arrange Dua for sick and recently deceased;
- Adhaan is performed in the ear of newborn baby;
- Dua for people moving into their new house;
- Every possible help in Islamic matters;
- Zakat & Sadqah is paid to various well known charities to help poor and needy Muslims;
- Whatsapp group for all prayers Jamat times only;
- Eid prayers
- Car Parking facilities: Free parking is available at the mosque and additional free parking is available on the roads nearby the mosque. Toilet and wudhu facilities are available for worshippers only. There is a separate toilet for ladies, with wudhu facility. Please note that the mosque is not a rest house or service station for visitors. The mosque is only open at prayer times (Jam’at), and not at other times. Please only come to the mosque at the prayer Jam’at times, that are shown on the mosque’s website.
